JOHN REED FITNESS – Liverpool Street

Fit-out of the UK’s flagship JOHN REED FITNESS Club in central London. Located in a prime spot over 2000sqm on the first two floors within the new Broadgate development, right next to the main Liverpool Street station entrance. A luxury gym and music club, eclectic and one of its kind. Exceptional interior design with influences from around the world combined with the best training equipment and live DJs to motivate their customers are trademarks of JOHN REED.

Studio VK provided the main local architect services for an international client team (German & Austrian) for the demanding fit-out project. We led and coordinated a local UK based design team including fire, structural and acoustic engineers to work with the client team through the concept design, planning, technical design/ tender and construction stages – this over a period of two years.

We oversaw the intense 8-months construction phase on behalf of the client, coordinating with City of London Building Control and with the main contractor on a daily basis. This led to securing the landlord’s Consent to Trade for the client and the successful Grand Opening end of September 2021.
